전자음악 작곡가 장재호(한국예술종합학교 교수)와 한국인 최초로 영국 테크노 차트 1위를 차지한 테크노 뮤지션 가재발(이진원), 실험적이고 즉흥적인 무용 음악을 창작해 온 N2(남상원)가 2008년 결성한 아티스트 그룹이다. 2010년에는 비주얼 디자이너 박상우를 객원 아티스트로 영입, 시각적 실험과 창의의 지평을 넓혀나가고 있다.

Profile: 

송호준은 기술의 틈새를 발견하고 조합하기를 즐겨하는 예술가이다. 그는 그 틈을 발견하여 사회 비평 수단으로 이용하기도 하고 아름다움을 표현하기 위한 물감으로 이용한다. 마이크로프로세서, 센서, PCB디자인, 알루미늄 등이 그가 즐겨 쓰는 물감이고 새로운 배합을 위해 그의 스튜디오(Studio hhjjj)에서 지속적인 실험을 하고 있다. 다수의 그룹전에 참여하였고 2번의 개인전을 하였다. 현재는 극한기술을 이용하고 구현하여 이야기를 만들어 내는 작업들을 하고 있으며 "이 세상에서 가장 강력한 무기", "방사능 보석", 그리고 "오픈 소스 인공위성 프로젝트" 등의 프로젝트를 진행하고 있다.

1932년 서울에서 태어나 1949년 홍콩 Royden School을 졸업하였다. 1950년 일본으로 건너가 도쿄대학 미학문학부에서 공부하고, 1956년 독일로 유학하여 뮌헨 루드비히막시밀리안대학교를 수료하였다. 그뒤 유럽과 미국을 떠돌며 전위적이며 실험적인 미술집단, 플럭서스(Fluxus)의 일원으로 활동하면서 테이프리코더와 피아노음악 공연(독일 뒤셀도르프, 1959), 피아노포르테 연구 공연(1960), 심플 공연(스웨덴 스톡홀름, 1961), 뮤직일렉트로닉TV전(1963) 등 많은 공연과 전시회를 가졌다.

1963년 독일 부퍼달 파르니스 화랑에서 첫 개인전을 열어 비디오 예술의 창시자로 세계 미술계의 주목을 받고, 1969년 미국에서 샬롯데 무어맨(Sharlotte Mooreman)과의 공연을 통해 비디오 아트를 예술 장르로 편입시킨 선구자라는 평을 들었다. 1977년 위성TV쇼 '굿모닝 미스터 오웰'을 발표하였고, 1993년 베네치아 비엔날레에서 황금사자상을 받았다.

1996년 6월 뇌졸중으로 쓰러져 몸의 왼쪽 신경이 모두 마비되었다. 그러나 신체장애를 극복하고 국내외에서 도시와 영상전(서울시립미술관, 1996), 교과서 미술전(예술의전당, 한가람미술관, 1997), 독일 비디오조각전(예술의전당 한가람미술관, 1997), 97바젤국제아트페어(스위스 바젤, 1997), 개인전(미국 국립미국미술관, 1997), 98서울판화미술제(예술의전당 미술관, 1998), 한국현대미술전-시간(호암갤러리, 1998) 등의 전시회를 열었다.

1996년 10월 독일《포쿠스》지가 선정한 '올해의 100대 예술가' 중에 들었고, 1997년 8월에는 독일 경제월간지 《캐피탈》이 선정한 '세계의 작가 100인' 가운데 8위로 올랐다. 1998년 미국 프랫 인스티튜트에서 미술명예박사 학위를 받았다.

현대예술과 비디오를 접목시키는 데 결정적 기여를 한 공로로 '98년도 교토상'을 수상하였고, 한국과 독일의 문화교류에 기여한 공로로 '괴테메달'을 받았다.
2000년 금관문화훈장을 받았다. 2006년 1월 29일 미국 플로리다주 마이애미에 있는 그의 아파트에서 타계했다.
